Cars are Free / Water Issues

Brad came over and pulled out the vehicles and they are out and parked where they need to be. It was a big mud pit. It was all standing full of water. Brad hooked up cumalongs and took care of it.
The refrigerator upstairs is leaking through the basement and poured on top Brad's head while he was checking their other leaks. ( He was excited.)
They need a new refrigerator, it's all rusted out and even though they have paid for a few service fees it's going to do the same thing again. They want to keep the ice maker, and it is ruining all the floor joists. He is trying to get things as well as he can between jobs and having to come back home for concerts and baptisms. He is a tired boy. They are happy they can get out now. What adventures!

Brad, You're my hero! Thank you for helping as you can.

Are they going to be able to get a refrigerator? Is the floor going to be ok? It just keeps getting better doesn't it?

Let them know we are thinking of them.

If they get a new refrigerator soon it will be ok. Not if they let it go on much longer. We are a firm believer in fixing with the least amount of cost, but if they insist on using the ice maker, and they do, it will cost them a floor and a refrigerator. They had a warranty on the part that was replaced and never fixed, but they didn't bother to hand the warranty to us or call to tell them it didn't work in the 90 day period, so now they have no legal recourse.
It was a only a few days past the warranty, if they just would've made one phone call or asked someone else to... Brad called and tried to talk to them and insisted there was an implied verbal warranty as well. They will not honor it and frankly they don't have to since you have to call within the time frame and it started leaking within a few days or weeks.
He is a good guy isn't he? I just wish he was home more. ; )

What a man, what man, what at mighty good man! (Did you sing that?) I hope it all works out. Sometimes I get frustrated that we are still renting and that we don't have our own home, but then again I don't have to deal with this stuff. No fun!
