Annie's Lil Bits

It's probably because it's closing today and I am not there, but I'm feeling all sentimental about Annie's. I love that place! I loved having our family gatherings there also. I loved that so many of the family got to work there. There was just so much good about it. I'm proud of Mom and all that she has achieved. I'm excited for her new job too. Truth be told though, I will miss Annie's! I'm such a sap! Who cries over restaurants? This girl does. Thanks Annie's.

building the family Monte

Sorry I meant to go to the Pieper's blog, oh well. This is our family project. We hope snow to go away so we can begin the engine. We've voted it to be named Blackie Blue.

Four Generation Picture

I'm not quite sure when this picture was taken. Deanne took it on her camera and I only got a picture copy, not a digital. I think it was taken around Easter of 2007. I really wanted to make sure we got a four generation picture taken. I remember seeing one of me, mom, grandma, and Great-grandma Forsyth. I would love a copy of that picture if anyone has it. Hopefully, I can get the digital copy of this one, too. I had put it in a frame and the top corner got ripped off. I really want to get Sharon to turn this into a painted portrait. Four generations of great women!

We are reminded of Iowa Winters

We have decided it is too cold for February. So we are posting a picture to remind us of warmer days. We have been busy still working on the house and have spent all of our days off of school keeping up on our studies, catching up on Seminary and cleaning the basement. We have been re-organizing the kitchen as well as Brad builds things. We are awaitng Spring!

Hinckley Challenge

There is a website that is offering a Book of Mormon Challenge in honor of our beloved prophet, Pres. Gordon B. Hinckley. The challenge is to read the Book of Mormon in 97 days, representative of the 97 years of Pres. Hinckley's life. I have accepted this challenge and encourage all to do so, also.

If you visit the website, there are links to track your progress and view others who have accepted the challenge.

I would LOVE it if anyone would like to share experiences from reading this inspired book.

I truly love my family and hope that everyone can find peace in knowing our Savior and reading His words.
