These are the pictures I have.  I thought I'd put up a tribute to him as he would have been a 101 this year.
Here are some poems I wrote years ago.  Grandpa liked them.

Grandpa
You were the only Grandpa
I ever knew
But, that's not why I love you
I remember days spent sitting
around the farm
trips we'd taken
just for the scenery.
How I miss it all so
You made growing up such a treasure
Treasures I'll never forget
for they have become a part of me
At  times making me Wish
I'd never grown up
or could just go back in time...

Grandfather
On days when I'm depressed
My thoughts drift back to yesteryear
Summers spent with you
Drives through the countryside
Through you I learned to
appreciate the land around me
and the beauty of farmland
The days of special trips
I remember the Maple Syrup pond
The first time I was ever allowed to
drink Pepsi with pancakes
The Trip Billy Clocks
Wher I got my clock necklace
and Buffalo Bills
seeing the pipe organ and the tshirt's
that said
"I'm a little Cornhusker from Iowa"
But my best and sweetest memories
are of the time spent on the farm
engaged in idle chit chat
and the things I did for you
Thank you for all the wonderful
memories
And all the love you've
shown me
and grandfather,
I do love you

Old Familiar Trip
It always seems to take forever
to get back to you
But once I reach the dusty
gravel road
I begin to see the tree tops
and the pink house
Crossing the old wooden bridge
I can clearly see the house
and a sense of peace
comes over me
Oh, how good it feels to be back
Where my fondest memories
 come from
